Educational Achievements, Qualifications, Training

  • Recognised CCAB Qualification
  • Degree level education or equivalent through relevant training and experience *

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience of managing a significant finance function
  • Experience of producing statutory and management accounts and consolidated group accounts
  • Experience of implementing financial systems, procedures, internal controls and treasury management
  • Experience of performance based management in a customer focused service organisation
  • Experience of leading on Value for Money issues, including use of benchmarking
  • Knowledge and understanding of statutory frameworks and key issues in the sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of business processes
  • Experience of business planning and risk management
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness
